Everyday Design Inspiration

Jeantherapy: This advertisement was unique all in it's own category. Not a whole lot of color but the ad is for jeans, and well it's jeans. The typography is casual. The logo design is creative and speaks for itself. I would say the target audience is both men and women, because they are all different versions of the brand "jeantherapy". The call to action would be the store it states "jeantherapy". My information source for this is the picture that I took in New Orleans at the Canal Mall, and also jeantherapy.com. Grammar and punctuation for this ad is fine.

Zebra Floor: This floor was located in a jewelry shop in downtown New Orleans. There is no Typography, logo involved in this one I just thought the design of the floor was interesting for a costume jewelry store. The target audience is women in general, but there was also jewelry for men, not much but a little bit.

Art: This piece of art was on display downtown New Orleans. The description was next to it as to how the piece was created. The art itself was very intriguing as the design was made up of physical layers, and I found that interesting because it is similar to creating layers in Indesign. The Typography of the instructions was very plain and easily read. The logo used on the flyer was a little strange, I guess they like pelicans or whatever it is because I didn't see any art that went with that, it was all musical or shapes. The target audience wasn't specific, people who enjoy art because it was at an art fair. The call to action on this would be people that enjoy art, painting or music. The production process of this is explained in the instructions next to the art. The grammar and punctuation in the instructions are written just as instructions, and are OK.

Graffiti: The graffiti on the back of the truck is art on the go, I observed several different types of graffiti in N.O. and I don't think I could ever paint like a graffiti artist does., however I do think it is a unique art. There really wasn't a lot of color going on in this particular truck. The typography is mixed up of several different types of graffiti and pattern. I'm not going to assume the target audience or any call to action because I don't know what any of it means!! The production process would be some type of aerosol spray can of paint, saggy drawers, gang related signatures, and maybe a little bit of alcohol.. just an assumption! (not really) but it is art in culture.
